Allegra Milady
Walking back into the apartment, my muscles relaxed in the midst of darkness that dawned the hallway. The nerve wrecking hunger that ate at my molecules, burned my core, had been tended to in the wildest way. The moonlight illuminated the penthouse as I made my way to my temporary room. My steps halted when I remembered this man does not like to be kept waiting, with the after - sex glow radiating from my pores, I detoured my movements to his office.
My palm turned the golden knob, the dimly lit office didn’t highlight the owner. Emeralds searching for those magnetic sapphires that drowned in the depths of my soul, this time his muscular figure wasn’t in his chair.
Scanning the surrounding of his office, the outline of his broad shoulders straining against the white formal shirt. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbow, revealing his milky skin that begged to be licked, the veins that grew prominent each time he clenched his fists. Only this time, his hands resided in his striped black slacks.
‘Your late,’ his honey dripping voice sternly stated.
The melody of his dominating voice sending jolts of pleasure to my dripping core, its like the beast unleashed after fulfilling my hunger.
‘I had something to take care of,’ I replied, suppressing the moan that wanted to escape my bruised lips.
‘You mean you had to take care of your desires first!’ he bluntly replied, prying his figure away from the outskirts of the city.
The murderous glow of crystal blue corrupting my senses, a few buttons where undone which revealed his Herculean chest that I begged to scar. The scorching heat drifting through my bloodstream at his deadly stare, begging to drain the life from my body. That sadistic part of me made my core throb at the thought of his rough body corrupting every inch of mine, burning me alive.
‘What does it matter if I followed through with them,’ I stated, admitting to his revelation.
Those pupils seemed to dilate at my words, the wickedness that exuded behind his lethal glare, displayed his true monstrosity. The mischievous grin that crept onto his lips, features contoured with rage. He stalked around my posture, like a predator that is ready to display his wrath upon the weak. What he didn’t know is that the more villainous he is, the more I ached to claim him as mine.
‘What did you find out?’ he questioned, halting in front of me as he disrupted my thoughts of devouring his delicious whiskey mouth.
Raising my eyebrow at his calm exterior that still displayed aggravation. ‘Mr Lombardi had information gathered to him stating that The Bellucci are back after ten years. Apparently, they are buying out other people’s stock and taking the dealers, also The Jillian’s have aided them in their time of need, which is how they got back on their feet.’
His tall figure towering over me, his emotionless state is more disturbing. It only added to my analysis of him, he indulged in the slow burn. Those callous fingers drifted to the strand of onyx that dangled in front of his vision, he twirled the strand around his finger before tucking it behind my ear. My mouth parted at his actions, a diabolical grin graced his lips and I knew there will be a horrific outcome when he became this temperamental.
‘Is that all?’ his fruity voice asked.
Shaking my head, ‘They also talked about The Vasilief’s and how they are planning to overthrow him because he is going to start a war with the Greeks. The Vasilief want to gain control of each gang, Russian and Italian to take down the Greeks. Mr Lombardi said that he doesn’t not want another meaningless war to start again, he is going to inform all the gangs about what Mr Vasilief is planning. From my perspective, Mr Lombardi want to take down The Vasilief because they are the most feared and he desires to hold that title,’ I informed.
A satisfied smirk erupted upon his lips, which made me furrow my brows at his demeanour. Wasn’t this supposed to be a bad thing?
‘You did Good!’, he hummed in appreciation.
‘Thanks, now if you don’t mind,’ I said, attempting to leave his office.
He Didn’t see that my time is up since he blocked my path, my palms crashing upon his defined muscles through his shirt that I urged to draw blood on.
‘You did well with gathering information but I am afraid you need to be punished,’ he stated, making me study his famous devilish grin.
‘Why do I need to be punished?’ I gritted, annoyance laced on my tone.
‘For thinking about yourself first and not the task that I initially sent you for,’ he instructed.
Leaning into me, his scorching whiskey laced breath fanning me and frazzling my mind at the same time.
‘Bring her in,’ he snapped.
I stared at him in confusion, until the sound of the door flying open had answered all my questions. The Hulk casually strolled in, a fist full of coffee coral locks. The string of curses that escaped those familiar lips as he threw the slim figure against the caramel floor, blanketed in bruises.
‘April’, I whispered, my eyes widening at the person on the floor.
April had a violent look in her eye, that I knew not to mess with. But when she heard me, they instantly softened when she saw me.
‘Milady,’ she smiled, filled with relief.
When I rushed towards her figure, The Hulk gripped my waist and held me in place.
‘HULK, LET ME GO..’ I screamed, the flames lighting within my body.
The Hulk didn’t utter any words as I stared at April. The Devil walked behind her, yanking her waves back before throwing her backwards to the ground. She hissed at the impact, rubbing her head from the soreness.
‘What are you doing, I did the job,’ I reminded.
‘Yes, but you didn’t; for the previous one and therefore a lesson is need to be taught to people who do not follow my rules,’ he announced, pulling out a gun from behind his shirt and aiming it at the back of her head.
I stared in astonishment, my orbs widening. The hatred that fuelled my body and the weight of guilt on my shoulders dragging me down. Anger coating my eyes, the colour red blinding me as I back headed The Hulk and pulled his arm to flip his heavy body over me. The sound of his body crashing onto the floor filled the silence as I stalked towards The Devil.
He didn’t seem surprised as he knocked my head with the butt of his gun, making me drop down. The intensity of his strength that made my vision blur, those eyes glistened with excitement and annoyance at the same time, ‘Did you really think I didn’t expect that?’ he said, rolling his eyes.
‘Don’t do this, she has nothing to do with this,’ I groaned, clutching my head.
Dropping down to my eyelevel, the monster that I cursed myself not to become attracted to had clawed its way out and I couldn’t deny the attraction that I still felt for the Devil.
‘I can’t hurt you, but there are other ways to do so and if I kill her, then you will feel everything I want you to feel. Which is pain.’ he grinned, poking the barrel at April’s head.
‘Stop, please don’t do this!’ I cried.
‘Well, you should have listened to me the first time and did your job,’ he remarked, his finger slowly closing on the trigger.
‘I promise I won’t slip up again,’ I pleaded.
‘Too late, you need to be punished,’ he announced, pulling on the trigger.
Snapping my eyes shut, not being able to even witness the sight before me. But all I heard wasn’t the atrocious bang that stung my ears, the sound of a soft click filled my ears. Opening my eyes, April sat on the floor, alive.
There wasn’t a bullet in her skull, when I stared at The Devil. He placed the gun back behind him and walked towards me, harshly gripping my jaw upwards to stare into those sparkling oceans.
‘Let this be the last time you try to play me for a fool,’ he spat.
‘Yes,’ my monotone voice instantly replied.
He dropped his grip, which made me instantly run to April as I engulfed her in my arms. I sat staring at him when he neared the door.
‘We leave for Russia tomorrow,’ his monotone voice announced.
I was about to argue with him when he cut me off. ‘Be careful love, you wouldn’t want to anger Mr Vasilief again, now would you?’ he smirked.
No Damn Way….
