GOLDEN HEART 5

CONTINUED FROM THE OTHER DAY….

Adam smiled and put his hand on my knee.

Just - relax honey, I’ll take care of everything. You just have to be there on time.’ He reassured. ‘I was thinking we should do it in our house instead of the hotel. What do you think?’ He asked.

‘Sure, I don’t mind.’ I answered.

Few minutes later we parked at the restaurant, the valet took our keys, and we entered the place.

The manager greeted us himself, since Adam is considered a very important guest here.

‘Mr and Mrs Knight, right this way, please.’

The manager led the way to a secluded area before he left us alone.

I wasn’t shocked when he called me Mrs Knight. I was rather used to it, Adam ordered his employees to call me Mrs Knight whenever he introduces me to anyone of his business associates.

At first I was shocked and argued with him about it. However he told me that it was no big deal since we going to get married anyway and that I’m going to be referred to with that sooner or later.

Our waitress came to take our orders, the same waitress that flirted with Adam each and every time we come here. She was beautiful indeed, not the typical make - up - caked - face - flirting - waitress, she has a beautiful hourglass body, and wearing very conservative clothes.

She came swaying her hips trying to get Adam’s attention, but as usual he just ordered and waved her off without even looking at her. However - Unlike the other times where she would go away pouting, this time she started caressing from his shoulder to his hands seductively.

‘The Hell!’ Adam moved his hands away from her as if he was burned, and stood up abruptly knocking the chair over in his way. The girl seemed to be taken off guard because she was like a deer caught in headlights.

‘I’m sorry, si…’ she tried to apologise, only to be cut by a seething Adam.

‘MANAGER! MANAGER!’ He yelled for the poor soul. The manager came running like his tail was on fire. ‘YYyes, sir.’ He looked between the shocked waitress and the seething hulk, scared himself. A crowd was already assembling around us, digging for a new topic to gossip about.

‘What did I tell you the last time I came here?’ He asked as calmly as he could in his angered state.

‘About what, sir?’ The manager asked pathetically feigning ignorance.

‘ABOUT THIS FUCKING WAITRESS.’

‘Nnnot to let her serve you again.’ The manager said defeated.

‘THEN, WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE TRYING TO SEDUCE ME LIKE A DESPERATE SLUT IN FRONT OF MY WIFE?’

‘I’M sorry, sir. I didn’t know she came here.’ The manager apologised.

‘But she’s not your wife.’ The girl whined like baby.

‘Shut the hell up.’ The manager hissed at her.

Adam advanced to her like a lion to its prey. I stood up, and walked to his side. ‘It’s okay, Adam. No harm was done.’ I said reaching for his masculine bicep squeezing it gently for assurance.

‘No, honey. It isn’t, she ruined our dinner.’ He said pulling me to his side, putting his arm around my waist. ‘I want her fired immediately, or I will shut down this restaurant down this instant.’ He said dangerously low.

‘Please, sir. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to. I jus --- ‘

‘You should have heeded my first warning, and stop flirting with married men.’ he said cutting her off. He wrapped his arms around me, and glared at the crowd around us when they didn’t make a move to let us out, making them disperse almost immediately.

Adam parked at my penthouse building before he opened the door for me. He put his hand around my waist, and escorted me to my penthouse.

‘I’m sorry about the restaurant’s fiasco.’ He said when we reached our destination.

‘It’s okay! You already made it up for me by going to that picnic earlier.’ I told him. Adam suggested that we have a picnic next to the lake at the further part of the garden of his house premises. It was the most intoxicating sight I’ve ever seen, he ordered the staff to dim the lights of the garden so that we are able to see stars in the clear sky.

‘But that alone is not enough. I’m so…’

‘It is, for me. More than enough actually. It was the best dinner I’ve ever had.’ I cut him off smiling.

‘That’s all that matters to me.’ He kissed my forehead and cheeks before he went away.

I closed the door behind him before I went to my room to have a shower, but just when I kicked my heals away and was about to strip, the doorbell rung. I rushed towards it was thinking Adam forgot something.

‘What now?’ I asked playfully the moment I opened the door.

‘Hello, Just!’ If I froze when I heard the nickname, then I was a statue when he hugged me out of nowhere like we were some kind of long lost friends or something.

‘THE FUCK IS THIS!’ Boomed another voice when I was about to shove him away from me.
